THE SORELIUM STORY BUILDING WITH AI

I'm just a dad
with an idea.

One person. A collection of ideas. A ChatGPT Plus subscription. And a lot of late nights figuring things out.

01 / THE BEGINNING

What if I could actually build the things I imagine?

I'm not a professional software developer.

I didn't start with a team of engineers, investors, or a massive budget.

I'm a dad. I have a job, a family, responsibilities, and probably more ideas than I know what to do with.

But I've always had this thought in the back of my mind:

What if I could actually build the things I imagine?

Not just write them down. Not just talk about them. Actually turn them into something real.

That's where my journey with AI began.

02 / BEFORE CODEX

There was copy and paste.

When I first started using ChatGPT, things were very different.

There wasn't a Codex coding agent that could work through an entire project for me.

I used ChatGPT Plus, created Projects, uploaded source files, explained what I wanted to achieve, and started building things one piece at a time.

ChatGPT would give me code.

I'd copy it, find the right file, paste it into my project, and hope everything worked.

Quite often, it didn't.

An error would appear. I'd copy that error back into ChatGPT, wait for an explanation, make another change, and try again.

Sometimes fixing one problem created three more.

And then there was my Roblox game.

I remember spending hours upon hours fighting errors. I'd get one thing working, only for something else to break. Sometimes I'd go around in circles trying to solve what seemed like a simple problem.

There were moments when I genuinely wondered whether I was wasting my time.

But there was something I couldn't shake.

I had an idea, and I wanted to see it come to life.

So I kept going.

03 / WHAT GREW FROM IT

One idea became another.

Not a product catalogue. Just the story of what curiosity led me to try.

Something interesting happened along the way.

The more I learned, the more I realised what might be possible.

What started as experimenting with AI slowly grew into an entire collection of projects.

I began building Sorelium Tower, a system designed to bring different AI workflows together.

Then came Sorelium Flow and Speech, my own tools for creating and editing videos, generating narration, and helping turn ideas into content.

I worked on EverythingAI, an interactive platform for learning about artificial intelligence.

I built a website for Sorelium Studio.

I've explored games, digital products, automated systems, and even ways to create my own 3D characters.

Not everything is finished.

Not everything works perfectly.

Some things have been rebuilt more times than I'd like to admit.

But these are no longer just ideas sitting in my head. They're projects I've actually worked on and brought to different stages of life.

And that means something to me.

AI gave me the ability to attempt things I couldn't have attempted before.

It didn't remove the work required to make them happen.

04 / THE REALITY

AI didn't do everything for me.

I think there's a misunderstanding about building things with AI.

People sometimes imagine you type a sentence, press Enter, and suddenly have a perfect piece of software.

I wish it worked like that.

AI has made things possible for me that I wouldn't have known how to approach on my own.

But I've still had to make decisions, explain what I wanted, test results, find problems, rethink designs, and sometimes start again.

When Codex became part of my workflow, things improved. I could work on larger pieces of code without manually moving every change between ChatGPT and my files.

But that brought its own challenges.

Usage limits became something I had to work around. Sometimes I'd be making good progress and hit a limit. I'd have to wait, plan what to tackle next, or find another way to keep moving.

And even with better tools, errors didn't magically disappear.

That's an important difference.

05 / WHY I KEEP BUILDING

Why I'm building Sorelium Studio.

I want to be clear about something.

I'm not writing this from the position of someone who's already made millions from AI.

I'm not here to tell you I've discovered a secret formula for success.

I'm still figuring things out.

I've spent a long time creating, experimenting, and learning. Now I'm trying to turn that work into something genuinely useful for other people.

I'd love to build something that earns money, supports my family, and eventually gives me more freedom over how I spend my time.

Will that happen?

I don't know.

But I'm going to give it a proper attempt.

And rather than pretending I have all the answers, I want to share the journey.

The things that work. The things that fail. The mistakes, improvements, lessons, and hopefully a few milestones along the way.

That's what I want Sorelium Studio to represent.

06 / IF YOU'RE READING THIS

If you have an idea, don't ignore it.

This is probably the most important thing I want to say.

If you're sitting there with an idea for a game, an app, a website, a business, or something completely different, don't automatically dismiss it because you don't know how to code.

I was in that position.

I didn't know how to build most of the things I wanted to create.

And I'm still learning every day.

But tools like ChatGPT have changed what's possible for someone willing to experiment.

You can ask questions. You can learn. You can build something small, break it, understand why it broke, and improve it.

You don't need to start with a massive project.

Start with one idea.

Get one small part working.

Then build on it.

Of course, AI can make mistakes. You'll need patience, judgment, and a willingness to check its work. Some ideas will be harder than others, and not every project will succeed.

But don't let the fear of not knowing enough stop you from trying.

You don't have to know how to build the whole thing before you take the first step.

07 / LOOKING FORWARD

We're entering a different era.

I genuinely believe AI is going to change how people create.

Not because human creativity is becoming irrelevant.

Quite the opposite.

I think people with imagination, curiosity, and determination are gaining access to tools that once required entire teams or years of specialist knowledge.

That excites me.

I don't think everyone needs to become a programmer or build a business with AI.

But I do think it's worth understanding what these tools can do before deciding they aren't for you.

Don't push AI away simply because it's unfamiliar.

Explore it. Question it. Learn its strengths and limitations. Find out whether it can help you bring something meaningful into the world.

You might surprise yourself.

08 / THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING

Give your idea a chance to exist.

Sorelium Studio is still growing.

I've got projects to finish, problems to solve, content to create, and a lot to learn about turning all this work into something sustainable.

I don't know exactly where this journey will lead.

But I know where it started.

One dad, sitting at a computer, copying code from ChatGPT, fighting error messages, and refusing to give up on an idea.

If I can start building things I once thought were beyond me, there's a good chance you can start exploring your ideas too.

And if you're wondering whether it's worth trying?

Give your idea a chance to exist.

You might not get it right the first time.

You might spend an entire evening fixing one error.

But one day, you could be looking at something on your screen that used to exist only in your imagination.

And that's a pretty incredible feeling.

Thanks for reading, and welcome to Sorelium Studio.
